Evan Doodle's Story
Maggie and Evan are needing a special home who can offer them compassion and love, and all the care they need!

We have kind of a sad story about these 2 kiddos... We had NO IDEA these 2 were coming to GRRAND until one day when their owners showed up who could not speak any English, and were in a total panic... and asking us desperately to help them by taking in their 2 puppies! We had to get an interpreter to find out what the story was and we found out they had them in an apartment and the landlord was threatening to evict them if they didn't get rid of the dogs! We are at capasity at our GRRAND kennel, but couldn't say no. We are pretty sure they are doodles (either Goldendoodles or Labradoodles) about 7 months old and a very bonded pair. They have never had a collar or leash on, no vet care at all, and they know NOTHING about life as a pet. We just can't imagine how the owners were managing them in an apartment nor can we imagine what any of them was going through.

They are at GRRAND Central Station right now and we are learning about them, and giving them their vet care. They are very shy and timid, and (Evan is a bit more unsure of things than Maggie) and we are happy for them for their future, that we know they will have the knowledge of what it will be like to live with a family who can properly provide for them!

They are going to need a family that will have the time and the patience to give them the exercise and direction they need and to help work with them on their socialization skills, as they seem to have had none. They will need a home with a fenced in yard and no young children.

As we learn more, we will update, but if you would like to help these 2 get out of the kennel. and be the ones to give them all the TLC they are needing, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
