Eugene's Story

Meet Eugene
Eugene is one of those dogs that makes you stop and say, "okay... you're really smart." He watches everything, picks up on routines quickly, and is always trying to figure out what you want from him. He wants direction and does really well when he has it-he's a quick learner and genuinely enjoys using his brain.
He's house trained and crate trained, and settles into a home routine easily. Eugene is aloof with other dogs-he's not looking to make best friends, but he's perfectly fine coexisting and doing his own thing. Cats are interesting to him, but it's more curiosity than anything, and with the right guidance he'd likely learn to live respectfully with them.
Eugene would do best in a home that's going to include him in daily life and give him both mental and physical outlets. He doesn't need chaos, but he does need purpose-walks, structure, little training moments, or even just being given something to focus on. That's where he really shines.
When the day winds down, he has a softer side that comes out. He's affectionate in a calm, quiet way and enjoys being close to his people once he's comfortable.
He also prefers to enjoy his meals and high value treats in his crate. That's his space, and he's happiest eating there without any pressure or interruptions.
Eugene is a great fit for someone who appreciates a thoughtful, intelligent dog and is looking for a steady, loyal companion rather than a social butterfly.
His adoption fee of $300 includes his neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and a microchip.
Is it our website www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com to fill out an application!
