Ethel's Story

Meet Ethel!

This adorable, sweet, 4 year old beagle is dreaming of her furever home. She is not your typical beagle and doesn't really have a prey drive, and is very quiet and calm, but does have a playful side. It may sound too good to be true but she is the real deal. She absolutely loves her toys and all things comfortable. She is in a foster home with other dogs and does very well with them and adores her people, making her well suited to almost any home.

Ethel is one of our heroes because she has dedicated her first few years of life to research and now needs someone to give her an amazing retirement.

If you are interested in adopting, please email hah.illinois@naiaonline.org

Recommended Adoption Donation is $250

Homes for Animal Heroes is a program of the National Animal Interest Alliance (NAIA) that is dedicated to rehoming retired research dogs and sharing the facts about the critical role animals in research play in curing disease.
