Essie's Story
It is way past due for Essie to find her family. After multiple foster homes in WV where nobody expressed an interest in her, Essie is trying her luck in a more popular place beginning March 4th.

Already well-versed in basic commands — sit, stay, heel — she is also easy to walk on leash, is very well-mannered, and has learned it is not a good idea to jump on people. Essie may be a bit shy upon meeting new people, but warms up quickly. Around 60 lbs, Essie is said to be a good choice for kids, is most likely housebroken (she may have an accident or two in a new place), but not a good match for cats or chickens.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
