Meet Esme

Meet Esme!

Meet Esme, mom to the “Nine Stories” litter!

This sweet girl arrived in Wisconsin on February 10 and wasted no time introducing her babies to the world. Her puppies are ready to find their forever homes and so is she.

Esme is a beautiful 1.5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Between her heart nose, stunning gray with subtle brown undertones of brindle and her amazing personality, it’s hard to pick just one thing that makes her amazing. She’s the perfect medium size at 50 lbs.

Esme is very dog friendly and loves to engage with the other dogs in her foster home along with her own puppies. But no cats or small animals for this girl, as she’s way too curious to co-exist with them. She loves going for walks and even does well ignoring other dogs who bark at her while out for a stroll.

Esme is available for adoption through Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. She will be spayed on April 25 and is microchipped, dewormed UTD on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $325. To apply, please visit

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website:
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

The adoption fee is listed here:

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
