Ernie's Story

Please contact Cam (camlmca@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet. This is hard to believe, but a little Momma Dog was found living on the streets of Southern California, WITH 5 TINY PUPPIES only 3 weeks old! How long had she been 'on the streets?' Did someone dump her there because she was pregnant, or did they callously dump her and the little family after the pups were born? Zara did her best to protect and care for her tiny puppies, and did a pretty good job, considering. The little family was picked up by Animal Control, and the news was not good. They could not stay at the shelter because the pups, too young to vaccinate, would get sick and most likely die. There were no foster homes available, either. The call came to Rescued Paws. Could we help. Yes! We love puppies! Our foster moms are the best! Zara and her little ones were transported from Southern California to Southwest Washington, and have been living with lots of TLC in our foster care system. Now, the entire group is ready for adoption. Meet the pups: Tommy, Ernie, Rolf and Eddie. (their smaller sibling, the runt of the litter, suffered the most from his traumatic beginnings and is not quite ready for adoptiion yet). These darling little boys featured here are just as playful as can be.They have been neutered, have their first vaccinations, and are microchipped. If you would like to complete our Adoption Application, please do so! Be sure to put the animal's name and ID number at the top of the application and save the document to your computer.
