Ernie $85's Story
*Hound
*1yr 6 mos old; 63lbs
*Very friendly, bouncy and outgoing! Here with sibling Bert. Dog social. Enjoys his play groups very much. Excellent in foster care- house broken and good in the home environment.

Big Brotherly Love! Aren't we the lucky ones to have sibling sensations ERNIE and BERT under our care!! When their family could no longer care for them, we were there to pick up the pieces and in all honesty, these super friendly fellas have not missed a beat since their arrival. Very perky and bouncy, they are always front and center in their kennel in the "Pick Me" mode. They are always on the lookout to head out for a walk, enjoy some play time in our front yard but ultimately to meet their new family(ies). Young on paper (1.5 yrs old) and young at heart, these 2 keep the good times rolling. Very social, interactive and loving, they are skilled lap drapers, huggers and kissers. Together, things can get a little wild and crazy as they feed off each other's energy but one on one, they beautifully take it down a notch and seem very content to relax and chill in your lap.....yes...all 60lbs of them! Playful and outgoing, it would be great to see them together in their new home but we also feel they would be ok going their separate ways. For a good time, you know who to call.....Ernie and or Bert.

Facebook Update Feb 9: Foster update: Ernie loves his playtime outside equally as much as he loves naptime. Āhe is a BIG time cuddler and definitely believes he is a 60 pound lap dog. Understands the word "no", and is very people & dog friendly. He's seen cats before and was curious to sniff them, did not act aggressive towards them at all. He has not been reactive whatsoever, I haven't heard him growl or bark since I've had him (even when I gave him a bath that he hated). 100% potty trained, has had multiple successful doggy play dates, and sleeps through the night in the bed with me. Also I did some research and I think he is a Mountain Cur mix (which is a treeing hound).
