Ernie

Ernie is officially available for adoption!<br/><br/>-10yo, long haired chihuahua & 13lbs<br/>-Neutered, vax’d, chipped & hw neg<br/>-Dog, cat and people friendly<br/>-Crate and potty trained<br/>-Tripod <br/>-Sweet, loving boy<br/>-Very low energy<br/><br/>Ernie was found as a stray in Seagoville along with his brother Bert and brought to the shelter. Ernie was chipped, but owners hung up when the shelter contacted them. Unfortunately, we realized soon after picking them up that Bert was hospice and did not have very long. Ernie has adapted well since loosing Bert. Ernie would do well in a home with other dogs, but equally happy as an only dog. He would be great for a senior (the rescue has a senior program too)! He got a dental, benign masses removed and his leg amputated and has adjusted very well!
