Ernesto's Story

Little Ernesto was picked up stray like most all of our dogs. He is a really cute little guy and is a perfect size. We have no idea what breed is, so if you do, please message us! All we know is that he is very cute. Ernesto was very uncertain and scared when he first came to the shelter. He has really warmed up to us and is doing very well, and he loves going outside and playing with playmates in our exercise areas. There are some things that still scare him, however. He does not like the tools that we use to scrape poop out of the kennels and he has panic attacks when the blower is being used to drive them within his hearing. Ernesto is going to make a good companion, but it is going to require a special person with experience with shy or traumatized dogs to help him come around. If you are interested in Ernesto, please email
homes4all@gonetodogs.org
for more information. Please reach out to us before coming to the shelter to meet Ernesto as we sometimes have a regular hours. Ernesto is going to require a little patience, but he will be worth it.
