Eri

Eri is a 9 month old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix (our best guess based on looks and personality.) She does very well with other dogs, both large and small. She is also great with kids. Eri walks pretty good on leash, she’s getting better everyday. She is extremely treat motivated which makes her a very quick learner. She needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation (typical for her breed mix). If left to her own devices she can cause trouble with chewing, but redirects very easily with object replacement (Nylabones are her favorite). She is crate trained, but prefers to not be in her crate when everyone is home. While Eri is absolutely amazing, she is also very shy, it takes her a little bit to come out of her shell when she is in new environments. So it is important to keep that in mind and give her time to adjust. She would do best with another dog, to help her with her confidence and with an owner/handler who has experience with her breed as they can be challenging - and absolutely AMAZING!!
