Enzo

Enzo is a two year old neutered pitbull/chocolate lab mix who was brought to the shelter by animal control. Enzo was in bad shape when he arrived, having been left tied out for most of his life, in harness that was too small for him. He was far too skinny, and very friendly despite his rough start. After a few months in the shelter, with consistent meals and TLC, Enzo's fur has grown back and he's looking happier and healthier than ever. Enzo is a very sweet and gentle dog who'd love a patient person to show him how a dog should be treated. He loves playing with his toys and running around in the yard. He'll need housebreaking and basic obedience, but he's already picked up "sit' here at the shelter so he seems to be a quick learner.! He would not be suitable for a home with cats but may do well with other dogs so long as they weren't too small and were gentle with him. Enzo is a bit insecure due to his history so he may do best with older or dog savvy children who won't overwhelm him. Enzo deserves a chance to know what a real home can be like, and is sure to bring joy to the home he finds.

For more information on how to adopt Enzo please call us at 860-354-1350 or fill out an adoption application located on our website @aws-shelter.org.
Adoption fee for Enzo is $400
