Envy's Story
Meet Envy (short for Envelope)!! (case #6428)
Signed, sealed, and ready to be delivered to your heart.

Envy is a 3–4 month old puppy with a story straight out of the lost-and-found bin— she was discovered at a post office, like an unfinished letter just waiting for the right address. Now she’s hoping her forever home will finally be stamped “Return to Sender: Love.”

This sweet girl is very much a work in progress, just like any young pup. She’s still learning the basics of house-training and would benefit from obedience training to help her build confidence and good manners. Envy can be a little shy, and when things get too loud, busy, or overwhelming, she may feel anxious and become defensive. Because of that, she’s looking for adopters who can read her signals and handle her with calm, considerate, and confident guidance — no rushing, no pressure, just patience and kindness.

Where Envy truly shines is with other dogs. She absolutely loves canine companionship and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. In the right home, with structure and gentle leadership, Envy is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

If you’re ready to open a letter to your heart, Envy might just be the message you’ve been waiting for.
Signed: Envy
Sealed: with puppy potential
Delivered: straight to you, with love

Please complete an adoption application:

https://www.hamilton.ca/home-neighbourhood/animals-pets/adopt-or-foster-pet/adoptions

Envy has a future appointment to be spayed. Her adopters must be willing to return her for this surgery, which is included in the adoption fee.

Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only. This allows our Adoption Staff to spend quality time with each potential home to ensure the most successful matches are made between the animals and their new families.

*Please note: we only adopt within Ontario
