Enid (N25-162)'s Story
HIGHLIGHTS:

-Requires another confident dog already established in home-

Meet Enid - A Gentle Husky with a Playful Heart

Enid is a 4-year-old Alaskan Husky weighing 47.6 pounds, and she is a sweet, sensitive soul who is still learning to feel confident in new environments.

She is nervous and timid at first, especially around unfamiliar people or situations, and will do best in a calm home with patient adopters who can give her time and reassurance as she settles in. Once she feels safe, her gentle personality really begins to shine.

Enid truly thrives around other dogs. She does great in group settings, and her playful side comes out when she is with canine friends. Having another friendly dog in the home could be a huge confidence booster for her and help her continue to come out of her shell.

With consistency, kindness, and a little time, Enid has the potential to blossom into a loving companion who brings quiet joy and playful energy to the right home.

----------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
