Emmy's Story
Introducing Emmy
Our girl Emmy has been in foster for months + in that time she's become family to her foster parents and to our whole team. She is one of those once-in-a-lifetime, extra-special dogs who steals every heart she meets.

Emmy wants what every good dog deserves:
A soft place to land,
A loving family,
A home to finally call her own.

And the more time you spend with Emmy... the more you realize just how incredible she truly is.

This brave mama was found last winter nursing her very fluffy puppies — DNA later confirmed she was indeed the mom to her adorable doodle-terrier crew! Her babies have all been adopted, while Emmy has spent her time healing both her body and her heart.

She came to us with ear infections, itchy skin, allergies, and the aftermath of a painfully botched home ear-cropping. Despite all she went through, Emmy chose love. Today, she greets every person with a wagging tail, gentle eyes, and a whole lot of kisses. She's the definition of a social butterfly.

Emmy has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and would happily join a home with another friendly pup (or two!). She's an easy, joyful companion who truly aims to please.

Emmy's Highlights:
approx 3–4 years old / 50 lbs
dog-friendly
crate trained & housebroken & loves car
eager to please
food motivated
medium energy
affectionate, loving, loyal
spayed, vaccinated, microchipped

Fostered in MA — Apply to meet Emmy!
She's ready for her happily-ever-after... and she deserves nothing less.

*Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.*

If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below.
