Emmy (El Paso, Texas)'s Story
Emmy is a 1.5-year-old spayed female. She is super sweet and playful - she loves showing off and sharing her toys and is always flopping over for belly rubs. She is microchipped, current on all vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, and great with basic obedience (sit, down, stay, wait, kennel). She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff and explore.

Emmy was found as a stray and does have a minor medical issue with her hind foot - it doesn't slow her down all that much, but it does mean she isn't suited for hunting or hiking adventures. Emmy has shown guarded interest in other dogs but would do best in a home without other pets. She would thrive with someone who works from home or is retired and can spend consistent structured time with her.

Her foster recently had her evaluated by a veterinarian who says her paw issue is not causing any problems currently. She may require an amputation in the future.
