Meet Emmie, a loving 3-year-old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) whose only goal is to show you how much she loves you. Weighing in at just 8.8 lbs, Emmie is a petite pooch who loves nothing more than curling up on a cozy couch or snuggling into your lap. She came to Connecticut all the way from California with another pup, Gidget an 8-year-old Chihuahua, who is also up for adoption. They’ve become good buddies and while it is not a requirement, we’d love to find them a home together!

This sweet girl is a social butterfly among dogs, having thrived in a foster home alongside multiple furry friends. She enjoys gentle playtime with her canine companions and has a knack for making fast friends wherever she goes. Finding a home with another pup would make her very happy. Emmie's easy-going nature extends to children as well; she adores their company and is known for her gentle demeanor around them. Despite her young and playful personality, Emmie takes treats extremely gently and is eager to please her human.

Emmie does have a sensitive side and can be a bit shy in new situations so she would flourish in a calm and patient environment where she can gain confidence at her own pace. A quiet home with understanding owners who appreciate her loving personality would be ideal for this precious pup.
