She walks nicely on leash—unless a particularly good sniff demands her full attention. She also knows "wait" and her foster parents use this command before eating meals, going through doors, and at crosswalks. <br/><br/>This little lady can be shy at first and prefers a proper introduction (because really, who enjoys random strangers getting all handsy?). But once she knows you're safe, she'll shower you with love, cuddles, and loyalty. It took just one day for her foster parents to become her new favorite snuggle buddies. She needs consent before being pet and will let you know that you're 'in' by giving you her back to say, "ok, please pet me!". <br/><br/>With other dogs, Emma is mostly “live and let live.” She's happy to ignore them if they ignore her, but she's not afraid to bark back if someone gives her attitude.
