Emma's Story

Emma’s day starts with a good morning stretch and then outside for a potty break, a brisk walk checking on the chickens and finding a new favorite sniff spot. Emma is seeking a family that will enjoy her loving and happy personality for life!

Emma is a 3-year-old mix breed friendly dog. In her foster home she is crate-trained, house-trained and enjoys a good afternoon nap. The most asked question is Emma cat friendly? Everyone was asking so we had to find out - Emma does not live with any cats, so she was set up on a supervised introduction to a family member’s cat. While a multi cat home may not be the best environment for Emma, with supervised - slow introductions there is a possibility that Emma can live in harmony with a cat that will tolerate her curiosity.

Nothing seems to slow this girl down or discourage her from living her best life that includes an old leg injury that has healed on its own. Emma has tested positive for heartworm. Her treatment is underway, which is being provided by the Pet Alliance.

You can follow her journey on IG at saedmonds72. Emma's foster, Sally, is available to answer questions and arrange a meet and greet by emailing her at 72saedmonds@gmail.com or sending her a DM on Instagram.

EMMA FUN FACT: Her Adoption Fee is sponsored by Stanley Steemer - Thank you!
