Emma

Emma was abandoned at an emergency vet clinic with extensive wounds all over her body after a fight had broken out between her and her son in her previous home. Before the fight, both dogs got along great, but tensions had been building since her previous owner had become pregnant. RAD was contacted by a technician at the emergency center to take on Emma, as she was facing euthanasia after being surrendered.<br/><br/>Emma is a sweet and loving girl - her love language is definitly touch, as she is always looking to give kisses and cuddle with her foster family. She is calm in the house but enjoys her zoomies in the yard. One of her favourite things to do is use her nose, she is always sniffing around and investigating her surroundings. She is sassy, curious and goofy. She would like nothing more than a calm home with some comfy pillows and blankets for her to curl up on.<br/><br/>Emma has mixed allergies (environmental, seasonal, food), as well as a kiney affliction, and requires a specialized veterinary kibble.<br/><br/>Emma is very sensitive and in tune with the emotions of those around her. When you’re happy, she knows, and when you’re upset - she knows. She can tremble sometimes when she feels you are upset with her. <br/><br/>Emma can be reserved around strangers, and doesn’t really interact with them outside of the house. She would do best in a calm environment, as she can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. She is also NOT a fan of water! She is a strong girl, and can pull on leash, especially if she spots a squirrel!
