Meet Emerson! Emerson is new to our shelter and came in as a stray so we are learning more about him every day. He is very skinny and is on a special diet to help him gain weight and keep his stomach happy.<br/> Emerson acts like a puppy and we believe he is under one year old. He is eager to learn tricks for treat and has been super happy to meet new people and volunteers. He is not the most coordinated when it comes to catching treats but he gives it his all. Emerson seems interested in playing with dogs, but we don't know if he has ever lived with them. He walks nicely with new dogs and his play style is very pawsy. <br/> Emerson wants to cuddle everyone and sometimes climbs people, because of this we don't recommend him with small children, but he has been ok with our teenage volunteers. <br/>Emerson is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and heartworm tested.
