Ember is the life of the puppy party! This happy, well-adjusted little girl is always the first to come see what’s going on, and her tiny tail never stops wagging. She’s curious, friendly, and loves being part of the action—whether that means exploring the yard, greeting visitors, or snuggling up after playtime. Ember has gorgeous fuzzy fur with beautiful shepherd-like coloring that makes her just as stunning as she is sweet. Found huddled in a church doorway with her brothers after a middle-of-the-night call, Ember hasn’t let her rough start dim her sunshine one bit. She’s wonderful with other dogs and cats and is expected to do great with kids, too. Lakeside Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process consists of a completed and approved application which includes photo(s) of your home, a personal reference and a vet reference if other pets are currently in the home. All applications must be completed in entirety to be considered. Our adoption fee includes your pet's spay/neuter, UTD vaccines and deworming that are age appropriate, rabies and microchip. Meet and greets are only scheduled with an approved application, and no application will be processed if incomplete. You must fill out an application to help achieve our goal of finding permanent, responsible and loving homes for the animals in our care. Applications are not approved on a first come first served basis, but on which home is best suited for the animal. We rely solely upon adoption fees and donations to continue our mission to rescuing the abused, abandoned and neglected animals of our communities.
