Ember's Story

We cannot say enough good things about Ember. It has been decided that she be given the "Cutest Face" award. Ember is built like a permanent puppy. She's perfectly sized at 26 pounds, with a speckled face and melty brown eyes. She's probably a 9 year old Chihuahua/pitbull mix, and she got the best of both breeds. She loves to snuggle. Huge fan of your lap, and being right next to you. Ember has a medium energy level. She loves/needs to go for walks and runs, but is happy to snooze at your feet when you get home. She's an excellent binge watching partner and gives the sweetest little kisses.

Ember does okay with other dogs. She does not actively enjoy them, but she would be fine to share her home with another dog. She is good with dog savvy cats. She is crate trained and enjoys hanging out in her crate. She loves lickmats and puzzles in her crate! Ember is really smart and very food motivated.

She does has a touch of special needs. She has some possible nerve damage in her back end that requires a little extra bathroom assistance, but her foster will walk you through what you need to know. It has no effect on her quality of life.
Don't miss out on this permanent puppy!

Ember is being fostered in Tooele. If you'd like to schedule a meet + greet, please fill out our adoption application first and our adoption coordinator will be in touch! All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Ember's adoption fee is $150
