She is likely under 2 years old and is a husky/American bully mix.
This gorgeous girl weighs 50 lbs. Elvira (responds to “Ellie”) was rescued as a very
pregnant stray and after raising 8 puppies, she is ready to find her new home. She has
youthful energy, a sweet demeanor and is very smart. She is very attentive and
sensitive to her surroundings and learns quickly. She is a medium energy dog with high
exercise needs that are easy to exhaust with a long walk or good play time spent at the
dog park. For a husky mix, she is a relatively mellow girl. She gets along well with dogs
and loves to play chase at the park. At home, she is playful, but gentle and can easily
entertain herself with a squeaky toy. More than anything, she just wants to be loved and
will be a loyal, trusting companion. She has lived well with a small dog in her foster
home and has shown no food or toy aggression. She works well and learns quickly with
routines in her day, but she is also always up for an adventure. She is fully house-
broken and crate trained. Her ideal home would be with someone who has time to give
her good walks and play time each day, and wants an adventure buddy on hikes or
camping, etc. She loves car rides, splashing in the water at Dog Beach and cuddling on
the couch. If this sounds like the dog for you, apply today! She is microchipped, spayed
and up to date on all her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
