Meet Elvira!<br/>Elvira had a tough start to life and had no idea what going on a walk or true affection was. After being with us at the shelter, Elvira is slowly coming out of her shell. She is extremely timid and slow to warm up to new people, but once you earn her trust, she is a cuddle bug. <br/>Elvira enjoys short walks and just wants to be glued to your side. She enjoys treats but would much rather sit next to you and be loved and doted on. Elvira is a homebody and likes to stay in her small area that she knows well. Adventures? Not for her. Long walks? Not really interested. Sitting on the couch next to you? ABSOLUTELY!<br/>Elvira will need someone who is patient, kind and is ok with taking the relationship slow. She responds best to encouraging and kind words of affirmation to get her comfortable and come out of her bashful state.
