He’s a young pup full of gusto, curiosity, and affection.<br/><br/>While he is still building confidence in new environments and may take a minute to warm up to new people, Elvin is naturally social and eager to connect. He would thrive with a confident, loving leader who can continue guiding him and helping him feel secure.<br/><br/>Elvin walks beautifully on leash. He heels when asked and is also comfortable with loose-leash walking. He loves backyard playtime and is learning to fetch — sometimes he brings the toy back, and other times he proudly shows you where it landed and lets you handle the retrieval!<br/><br/>He is currently living with a dog-savvy cat. He has been respectful so far, though he is becoming more curious about his four-legged housemate and will occasionally attempt to initiate play.<br/><br/>Elvin is a smart boy who enjoys engagement toys and regular exercise. He settles well in his crate and can happily entertain himself with toys while his family is busy, but he’s just as content soaking up affection whenever it’s offered.<br/><br/>Elvin has been seen by a veterinarian and is doing very well. He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and follows TAGS’ harm-free flea and tick prevention practices. Elvin will receive all remaining age-appropriate vaccinations and be neutered prior to final adoption.<br/><br/>Elvin would do best with an active individual or family who will continue providing structure, leadership, and plenty of love while nurturing his bright, curious puppy mind.<br/><br/>If interested, please complete our application form found at https://animalguardian.org/how-to-help/adopting-a-rescue/adoption-applications/.
