Adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED thanks an anonymous donor!! Hi I'm Elsa! I was found abandoned in a field with my 12 babies (yes, 12!). I took such good care of them that we all survived until we thankfully were found and made it to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. I am a very sweet, friendly, happy girl with all of the humans at the rescue. It seems I'm a bit dog selective so a meet and greet with any current fur babies is important to make sure we get a proper introduction. I've watched all of my babies find homes and have been waiting patiently for my forever family to find me...I hope they come and take me home soon! I'm estimated at around three and a half years old and last weighed in at 65 lbs. We can't be sure of my mix, but my rescue sees Rottweiler and Greater Swiss Mountain Dog in me. I seem to be housebroken, but it is hard to tell for sure in a kennel environment. I walk very well on a leash and know how to sit and take treats gently. My adoption fee has been fully sponsored, and I am up to date on my vetting, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm test (negative), and spay. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
