Elsa's Story
At 3:30 in the morning, in the bitter cold, Elsa was abandoned. Dumped in our parking lot when it was 20 degrees outside, she stood trembling beside her sister Anna--the only constant she had left. Two senior dogs, left in the dark, in the freezing cold, with no understanding of why their family never came back.

Elsa is a gentle, tender soul. She moves a little slower now, but her heart is still wide open. Throughout everything she's been through, Elsa has remained soft and loving, quietly seeking comfort and reassurance. She stays close to Anna, drawing strength from their bond--because when you've lost everything, holding onto each other is how you survive.

She loves attention, soaking up every gentle touch like it might be the last. There's no bitterness in Elsa, only sadness and hope tangled together. Hope that someone will see her. Hope that someone will care. Hope that her final chapter won't be written in a kennel.

Elsa and Anna are bonded sisters and must be adopted together. They've already endured a heartbreak no senior dog should ever experience, and separating them would be another loss they don't deserve.More information?
