Elsa's Story

Meet Elsa, a 5-year-old Cattle Dog (39 lbs) who is looking for a very specific kind of home. Elsa is a true "working dog" at heart--smart, high-energy, and intensely loyal to her space.
Elsa is looking for an adult-only, savvy home because she is a "look but don't touch" kind of girl until she fully trusts you. She has a history of biting when her personal space is invaded or while being pet, so she needs an adopter who understands canine body language and can give her the physical distance she needs to feel safe.
The Essentials:
No Kids or Cats: Elsa needs a predictable, quiet environment.
Solo Queen: She is selective with other dogs and would thrive most as the only pet.
Energy Plus: She needs a job to do! She's perfect for someone into enrichment, puzzle toys, or long hikes.
Elsa isn't a "cuddle on the couch" dog right away, but for the right person who respects her boundaries, she is a dedicated companion.
