Elrond's Story

Hi! I am Elrond. I am a newbie at events and I don't love going yet. Everyone looks at me and says, "boy, he looks scared". I look at my foster mom and say, "wow, aren't they perceptive".

I missed out on socialization when I was a young pup, so now I'm making up for lost time and my foster mom is giving me a crash course. So yes, the cat is out of the bag, I am a scaredy pup. I will need a patient family that will give me time and space to warm up, but once I do, I am the sweetest, little guy.

I am around 5.5 months old and only 20 lbs. My breed is listed as "mixed". No one knows what I am. My mom was listed as lab/corgi (stab in the dark by the vet) and I never knew my dad. Talk about an identity crisis.

I am crate trained, and potty trained on a good schedule. I walk nice on a leash, when I am not overwhelmed. I play well with other doggies and love being outside. I haven't been around kids much, but I would probably be scared of them at first with their fast movements.

I must confess, I do have a rap sheet. My foster mom said I was an accomplice to the murder of a baby bunny. I also like to get up at the butt crack of dawn, but that's not a criminal offense at least.

I am up to date on vaccines (distemper/parvo, bordatella), dewormer and preventatives. My adoption fee is $425 which includes my spay/neuter at one of our partner clinics when I am around six months old. I am fostered on the east side of Madison.

I am a snuggly pup and a very loyal boy once I learn to trust you. I have big, expressive eyes and short, little legs. I will be the absolute best companion for someone willing to give me a chance.

I am available through Brown Paws Dog Rescue.

BrowPawsRescue.com

41-21-77ds

**Dog breeds listed are best guesses from veterinary professionals, they are never a guarantee. www.brownpawsrescue.com.
