Elphaba (FL)'s Story
Elphaba is an 18 month old Black and Tan Coonhound girl waiting in Pensacola for a new home after being picked up as a stray. Named after one of the lead characters from Wicked, Elphaba is sweet and affectionate with a quirky personality so prepare for lots of kisses and laughs! She is extremely friendly with every dog and person she meets but has not been cat tested. Elphaba rides great in the car, does well on the leash, and is both house and cratetrained. She does have a probable genetic defect in one hip socket; the orthopedic specialist vet recommended lots of exercise to keep her leg muscles strong and not letting her become overweight. She is eager to dance through life with you!
