He’s a social butterfly who loves people and soaks up every bit of attention and affection he can get.<br/><br/>Elmer is well-mannered and quiet. He behaves beautifully in his crate, never has accidents inside, and settles in calmly when it’s time to rest. On leash, he’s a pleasure to walk, happy to explore without pulling or fuss. When it’s playtime, Elmer’s joyful side shines through — he loves to romp, play, and then curl up for cuddles afterward.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s both playful and snuggly, Elmer might just be your perfect match. Come meet him at Lighthouse Animal Shelter and see for yourself why everyone here has fallen in love with him! <br/><br/>---<br/><br/>We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $500 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
