He's just tender-hearted.<br/><br/>Elliot would thrive in a calm, quiet home without other dogs, ideally with a retired adopter who enjoys a slow-paced lifestyle. He does like children, but he can become overwhelmed if they live with him full-time.<br/><br/> He loves going for walks, and he is overweight at around 70lbs, however he's steadily losing weight on his lowcalorie diet. He's a truly good boy — calm, wellmannered, and full of gentle affection. What Elliot needs most is stability. A soft place to land. A person who will let him grieve, adjust, and rediscover joy at his own pace.
