Elliot's Story

Meet Elliot–

Looking for a loyal sidekick with a big heart and an even bigger personality? Say hello to Elliot, a 3-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix who’s ready to box his way right into your heart! This handsome dark-brown guy came to us as a stray, but he’s quickly shown that he’s all about second chances and fresh starts.

Elliot is a friendly, goofy boy who generally enjoys the company of other dogs—he just might need a little help brushing up on his “doggy manners.” Think of him as that lovable friend who’s enthusiastic but still learning the rules of the game! With some guidance and positive reinforcement, he’ll be a pro in no time.
When it comes to people, Elliot is a total softie. He’s got that classic “tough guy outside, marshmallow inside” vibe.

Elliot is eager to learn and would thrive with an adopter willing to invest a little time and patience. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and tin-fur.

If you’re ready for a dog who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and soulful, Elliot is pawsitively waiting to meet you. Come see if he’s the missing piece to your fur-ever home!

FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO ARRANGE A MEET AND GREET, CONTACT vettech@jeffco.edu or (636) 481-3424. Emailing will provide a faster response than phone. We are a teaching facility and are limited in the time we are available so meet and greets must be scheduled.

Our adoption fee is $125. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on preventive medications (heartworm and flea/tick) and microchipped.

Jefferson College Veterinary Technology Program's Adoption Policy
If interested in meeting any of our animals that we have available for adoption, please email vettech@jeffco.edu or call 636-481-3424. We are a selective adoption program and require an application to be submitted prior to meeting any of our animals. In addition, since we are a teaching program and not a rescue or shelter, our animals are not immediately available to leave the Program once their adoption is approved. We typically require them to stay with us for 7-8 weeks after we receive them to ensure they receive all necessary medical care and are spayed or neutered. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
