Meet Ellie May, a best friend who will be your shadow, protect you, and be your constant companion!<br/><br/>This four-year-old Heeler mix is incredibly loyal and thrives when she’s by her person’s side. She’ll follow you around the house, stay close, and snuggle up in bed at night. She’s also protective of the people she loves — barking or growling at new faces until she decides they’re part of the pack. For some, this may take time (a few months even!), but treats and patience go a long way with Ellie. Once you’re in, you’re in forever.<br/><br/>Ellie May is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she absolutely must go to a home with another friendly dog. She’s grown up around dogs and truly depends on canine companionship. Ellie is full of energy — she doesn’t walk from room to room, she zooms!
