My name is Ellie Mae. I am a 9-10 yrs old brown/gray Brindle mix breed with a splash of frost to my face. I am short, stocky and cute as a button. I only weigh about 30 pounds. I get excited on a leash but I am manageable. I am house trained and crate trained. You just tell me to kennel up and I will when you need me. I love to cuddle sleeping on your lap. I was found as a stray. I got rescued when I walked up on someone's porch and they kept me for years until their health began to deteriorate. They had to move closer to their kids and join an assisted living center and now I am homeless once more. I love being out on the porch during warm weather. I am not too fond of the cold. I also love to snuggle under the covers in the morning. I get along well with dogs and kids, but have not lived with a cat before. I am an easy middle aged dog.
