She is happy-go-lucky, gentle, and absolutely adores human attention. If you sit down, Ellie will happily climb into your lap and do her best to stay there—especially if it means getting a little closer to you than her sister. <br/><br/>Ellie is very quiet, clean, and well crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and plays beautifully with her sister Essie. Their bond is adorable, and they can often be seen playfully nudging each other aside just to soak up a little extra love from their people.<br/><br/>Ellie’s calm, affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, sharing space, love, and quiet companionship.<br/>---<br/><br/>We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $500 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
