***COURTESY LISTING*** ASSISTANCE NEEDED~~ OCALA, FL MEET PEGGY ~~~ This little 'momma to be' was found by the side of the road at the local dump in 99 degree weather with an empty bowl and neck burns from an outgrown collar. A kind couple with 4 dogs of their own rescued her and she is safe, but they are looking for assistance placing the mom and her 11 pups!. She is approx. 2 years old, Full grown at 30 lbs. potty trained, a sweet and loveable temperament DOG FRIENDLY and the best mom ever! She has been exposed to 3 large shepherds and a small terrier. Not sure about cats or children. And she was good while being bathed. She is safe now. The rescuers are willing to foster and fully vet her and the pups - BUT ASSISTANCE IS NEEDED to help with medical needs. TRANSPORT from Ocala can be arranged. Interested in adopting? Grateful Paws Dog and Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

ADOPTING A FRIEND...We are of the belief that there is a perfect home for every homeless pet. We just need the time to find it. Most of the animals in our care have been rescued, so we ensure their new homes will be better than the last. We ask every potential adoptee to complete an adoption application. The board reviews each application and the best home for the pet will be chosen. We arrange for a home visit; use a legal and binding adoption contract and charge an adoption fee that is applied towards the vet bill and care of the pet. In most cases the adoption fee does not cover our out -of-pocket costs so we rely upon the help of many to place the animal in its final home.
