Ellie Catahoula Leopard Dog & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Rochester, NY

ELLIE is beautiful younger Catahoula Aussie type mix who just finished raising her litter of pups and is now ready for her own forever home. She will be spayed by the rescue and included in her adoption fee after her milk has 100% dried up, for her safety, She's friendly and sweet, and right about 50 lbs. She fully vetted besides the spaying. Her foster reports she's an awesome pup - housetrained, crate trained, loves to play - she does sometimes chase the resident cats but only to play, isn't aggressive. A dog savvy cat who doesn't run may work out fine. She's smart and has been learning some basic commands. She enjoys people, but can be just a bit shy at first for a few minutes when she first meets someone. But then she's fine. She loves to snuggle with her people and sometimes will follow around the house and outside, and her toys and bones are favorites of hers since she's been in foster.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
