Ellie's Story

Ellie is 3 months old and weighs 19 lbs, and she is one of those puppies that makes you stop and look twice. Her light green eyes, brindle and cream coat, and adorable brown nose with little pink freckles make her truly unique, and her sweet personality more than matches her looks.

Ellie is a Sato, which is a Puerto Rican street dog. Satos are known for being resilient, affectionate, and wonderfully loyal companions. Despite her young age, Ellie is already showing what a special dog she is. She is playful, happy, and loves being around people, especially children. She also adores other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to play with.

Like most puppies, Ellie is still learning the ropes and is working on crate training, leash training, and potty training in her foster home. She is curious, affectionate, and full of that joyful puppy energy, followed by sweet cuddle time when she is ready to rest. Ellie will do best with a family ready to continue her training and help her grow into the confident, loving dog she is meant to be.

Ellie is being fostered in Nottingham, MD.

****If you’re interested in scheduling a meet and greet, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/Dog
****

PLEASE READ:

Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home, new people, and a new schedule.
