Ellie's Story

Meet Ellie

Ellie is the kind of dog who sneaks into your heart without you even realizing it. She’s a total sweetheart with a big personality, a playful spirit, and a deep, undeniable love for soft pillows and cozy naps. At around 40 pounds and estimated to be between 1½–2 years old, Ellie has found that perfect balance between fun-loving energy and calm, snuggly companionship.

When she’s awake, Ellie is bright, curious, and full of joy. She loves to run, play, and go all-in on her favorite chew toys, adding just a touch of sass that somehow only makes her more charming. When she’s asleep, she transforms into the poster child for relaxation—curled up, peaceful, and completely content just being near her people.

Ellie is spayed, fully vetted, and has done wonderfully with a resident male pit mix. She can be a bit reactive on leash or behind barriers, so she’ll likely do best in a home without small dogs or cats. While she hasn’t been officially tested with them, she’s shown that she thrives most when she feels secure and understood.

What Ellie truly wants is her person—someone who will appreciate her playful side, laugh at her quirks, and happily welcome a professional-level snuggler into their life. Whoever adopts Ellie isn’t just getting a dog; they’re gaining a loyal companion with a whole lot of heart and love to give.

Apply to Adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Ellie is ready.
