Ella came to Furkids after being rescued from animal control as part of a large hoarding case, where she spent far more time with other dogs than with people. As a result, she can be scared and skittish around humans and still has a lot to learn about trusting us. Ella gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. Since she's never been on a leash and is currently a flight risk, we're requiring a home with a secure, small-breed-proof fenced yard. Ella may try to dart away at first, but once she's safely in your arms, she melts into the attention and affection.
