Ella's Story
🐾 Meet Little Ella 🐾

Age: 10 weeks
Weight: 7 lbs
Breed: Good old mixed breed (best guess includes some Bulldog, definitely Lab, and a little “who knows what” for good measure 😉)
Estimated Adult Size: Medium — around 45 lbs

Little Ella is a tiny girl right now, but she’s expected to grow into a solid, medium-sized pup. She loves giving her stuffed toys a very enthusiastic rough play session, and when playtime is over, her favorite place to recharge is curled up in your arms. 💕

She sports the cutest wonky ear and beautiful dark muzzle markings that give her an expressive, unforgettable face.

Like most puppies her age, Ella is learning that fingers are not toys. She does best when she gets plenty of toy-based play first — tug, chasing toys, and burning off energy — before close-up snuggles. When she accidentally nips, she responds to a firm verbal correction and is learning quickly. Without littermates or a mama dog to teach bite inhibition, she’s learning these important skills from people and will continue to improve with consistency and patience.

Ella is a quiet little girl overall, with just a touch of sassy back-talk now and then to keep things interesting. She has just come out of quarantine and has not begun any formal training yet, so her future family should be prepared for all the normal puppy basics — potty training, manners, structure, and guidance as she grows.

Ella will do best in a home that understands puppy behavior, enjoys training, and is excited to help her grow into a well-rounded, confident dog.

🐾 Adoption Info 🐾
All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.

👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog

Please note:
The dog you’re applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network. Don’t worry though — we’re always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!).

Adoption Requirements:
• Current pets over 6 months must be spayed/neutered (medical exemption allowed only with vet confirmation)
• Current dogs must have Rabies and DHPP vaccinations
• Consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention is required for both current and past dogs listed on applications

If you want a shortened Facebook version or a “puppy warning” blurb added (because… 10-week-old puppies 😅), I can do that next
