Hi! My name is Elfie and I am about 1 year old. You may have seen me on the news - I was left chained to a tree on a below freezing night on a bike path. If someone hadn't been walking by when they did there is no way I would have made it through the night. (There is still a $6000 reward for information about who left me). Considering my ordeal, I am pretty friendly once you get to know me but I am very standoffish meeting new people so you may have to come visit me a few times before I warm up to you. I am a mid energy guy who really loves toys. (I probably never had them before). Tennis balls are my favorite. I seem to like other dogs and didn't seem overally interested in cats. Please call the shelter to set up an appointment if you would like to meet me!
