Petite and sweet, Elektra is a darling girl. She has had a tough road - she was abandoned on a dog trainer's property after having a litter of puppies. But this harsh treatment has not dampened her spirit. A little shy at first, she quickly warms up to loving attention and treats. <br/><br/>Elektra is new to MAD as of late August, and appears to have low/medium energy (Mal scale). She is great with kids, dogs and adults! She doesn't know a lot of commands, but that should come quickly - she is very smart. Crate trained and housebroken. <br/><br/>Elektra is heartworm positive and has begun her 3-4 month treatment. Heartworm is highly treatable with a 95% successful outcome, so this won't hold this precious girl down for long. Elektra is adoptable while in treatment, so don't hesitate to reach out to learn more about her.
