Elee is a spayed female Shepherd mix that is BEAUTIFUL in color!!! She is literally blue with amazing ears!!!! <br/><br/>This is her story.....<br/>A rescue group received a message one morning about an abandoned Momma Dog seen sitting on roadside in Rapides Parish at a Hunting Lease. It took us over 10hrs to get there AND IT WAS DARK So at 6:30pm using a phone light I'm in the woods whistling blindly and what sounds like a BEAR comes growing and tumbling towards me.. LUCKILY it was momma dog!!!! She saw me and melted. Her mostly hairless body shivering and whimpering and kissing me in the face. She was sooo happy to see a person!!!!!<br/><br/>I found the Crate she was DUMPED in - I was appalled. Not only was she dumped but her precious 7 puppies were abandon along side her. They all had survived the elements- it was cold and wet from all the rain! Elee protected her babies like the amazing dog she is!<br/><br/>This Momma dog is AMAZING...what a trooper and protector! She is a fantasic dog now deserves the BEST home ever! <br/><br/>SHAME on the person who left them in a wooded area inside a crate to survive to death. And thank you to the amazing rescue who saved her and her puppies! <br/><br/>All of her puppies were adopted out but this amazing, one of kind gal is still looking for her forever home! She is up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and praying to find her home soon! Elee is a fence climber so she will need to go to a home with a fully wooded fenced yard so she can enjoy her play time.
