If she spots someone walking by, she’s often the first to approach, hoping for a cuddle or a scratch behind the ears.<br/><br/>With other animals, Elain is generally friendly but selective. She’s curious and polite with dogs, especially larger ones, but can take a moment to feel comfortable. Her biggest excitement comes from critters—birds, squirrels, bunnies, anything that moves outside. She’ll perk up, pull toward them, and then settle once redirected. Indoors, she loves watching “Dog TV” videos of wildlife, happily relaxing while watching her favorite show.<br/><br/>Elain is fully housetrained and extremely easy to live with. She has no issues being left alone, never barks, and spends much of her downtime napping, lounging, or enjoying her own quiet space. She sleeps wherever feels right—your bed, her dog bed, the floor—and adapts well to different routines. She also knows basic commands, responds to her name, and is food-motivated, which will make ongoing training easier.<br/><br/>She does have a few young-dog habits she’ll need help with: she’s a chewer, especially clothing or loose household items, so her new family should keep things out of reach and offer appropriate chews. She can also be a bit stubborn on walks—sometimes reluctant to come inside, sometimes pulling when she spots critters, sometimes wanting to choose her own route. With consistency, structure, and a confident handler, she’s already improving and will continue to do so.<br/><br/>Elain prefers a quieter home and a calm environment where she can relax, nap, and unwind. She would absolutely love a yard or patio where she can sunbathe and watch the world go by. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and loving once she feels safe, and she enjoys curling up for long snuggles. She’s tolerant with kids, friendly with visitors, and can live with other dogs if managed thoughtfully, though she doesn’t like sharing her toys.<br/><br/>Elain truly is a big, fluffy teddy bear with a gentle heart.
