Eiko Shepherd Mix Maidens, VA

Look, it isn’t often we have a 5-month-old German Shep. Mix (that could pass for a mini-German shepherd) available for adoption. This is Eiko, a 26lb ball of energy and intelligence. We have already taught her some commands, which she picks up easily. The flip side of that is she is so smart she’s going to need someone to keep her mind and body active. She is chock full of GSD energy, with maybe a dash of border collie in there to make things extra interesting. She loves her toys, exercise, and affection. Eiko does great on leash and is very attentive to anyone giving her attention. This pup is not for the faint of heart, if you’re looking for a couch potato, we can direct you to several here at the adoption center, but Eiko is not one of them. She’s going to make an excellent companion for someone(s) who is ready to get her out and about and have an active lifestyle. Now if you’re an experienced dog owner or are familiar with a pup like Eiko we invite you to come in and say hello. She has the potential to be an amazing companion, with her energy and smarts she’s just not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Eiko has been picky with other dogs so would do best as an only dog or we do require a a meet/greet. Eiko is chipped,spayed and fully vetted.
