I like to be wherever you are - you’ll find I like to take a nap nearby as you read, or watch from across the room as you cook dinner.<br/><br/>Though I’m usually very calm, I have a playful side too! I love a good toy or a bone and I get bursts of energy where I like to play and zoom around the yard. <br/><br/>I'm super smart - my foster mom says in just a couple days I’ve made a lot of progress in learning sit and remembering not to jump. Some affection and praise plus a little snack helps me learn really quick! I’m still working on my leash manners, but I’m almost perfectly house trained and I’d be happy to do some training to learn the rest of my commands. I’m really good in my crate and ride well in a car too!<br/><br/>My doggie foster brother and I get along great! I think I’d be happy to have a dog sibling. Do I sound like the perfect dog for you? I’d love to meet you!<br/><br/>Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
