Eggnog's Story

Eggnog is a sweet, social girl who loves being around people and making new friends! She does great with other dogs, is good with kids, and is always happy to accept a tasty treat.

She's an active girl who would love a family that can keep her included in walks, playtime, and everyday adventures, but she also knows how to enjoy the slower moments. After some fun, Eggnog would be just as happy curling up on the couch for cuddles or spending a lazy day relaxing with her people.

With her friendly personality, playful side, and love for companionship, Eggnog would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a fun and affectionate new best friend.

Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society & D.A.W.G's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to find a good match for both the animal and the adopter. In order to help you find the most appropriate pet for your household, we ask you to complete a short survey about your home and lifestyle. We also request that as many members of your family meet the animal as possible. It's important that your new animal is compatible with all the people and animals in your house and we do our best to determine the adoptable animal's ability to adjust to your lifestyle. We evaluate each adoption on a case-by-case basis and may ask prospective adopters to visit us several times to meet with the dog or cat prior to completing the adoption. Please visit our shelter to find out more about adopting one of our homeless cats or dogs.
