Egg's Story
Egg's story is one of resilience. Before entering his foster home, he lived his entire life as a feral dog, never knowing the safety of a home or the predictability of human kindness. Everything about life is new to him, and he's taking it all in at his own pace.

Egg is very nervous and will need a patient adopter who understands that decompression isn't a weekend project, it's a journey. He has already made meaningful progress in his foster home, but he still has a long way to go. He may never be a "typical" dog, and that's okay. What he can become is a quiet, steady companion who appreciates being near the people he trusts.

He does wonderfully with cats and other dogs, and he should go to a home with a calm, confident dog who can show him the ropes. A secure, fully fenced yard is a must for him so he can explore safely outside.

Once Egg feels safe, he likes to be around his people, observing the world with soft curiosity. His progress may be slow, but every small step is a victory worth celebrating.

Since Egg is currently in a foster home in Racine, please call us to set up a time to meet him.
